Sateliot secures €100m for 5g constellation expansion
Spanish startup Sateliot has launched a €100 million Series C funding round to scale up its 5G satellite constellation. The company aims to complete its Internet of Things (IoT) use case and demonstrate 5G New Radio Technology with voice, video and data capabilities.

Existing partnerships and growth momentum
Sateliot has already secured pre-contracts worth €270 million, with over 400 clients across 60 countries, including agreements with major telcos like Telefónica and Deutsche Telekom. Since its founding, the company has raised around €100 million from a diverse group of investors, including industrial, institutional and financial backers like Indra, Cellnex, and Banco Santander.
Government Support and Sovereignty
The Spanish government, led by Digital Transformation Minister Óscar López, has expressed its support for Sateliot's mission, highlighting the company's role in promoting digital sovereignty in Spain and Europe.
