This confirmation follows a tip from Tarun Vats, who reported a conversation with Samsung regarding the device’s update schedule. The move aligns with the company’s promise of four years of major updates for the S23 series, which is currently months away from completion.

Following the established pattern of the Galaxy S22 series, the S23 FE is nearing the end of its major update cycle. The S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra, all launched with Android 13 and One UI 5.1, will also be limited to One UI 9.
