Motorola razr fold pre-orders start in 15 days, priced at 1,999 euros

Motorola is gearing up to release its latest foldable smartphone, the Razr Fold, with pre-orders starting in just 15 days according to a tweet from the company's UK arm.

Key specifications include 8.1-inch p-oled internal display, triple camera setup, and 6,000mah battery

The device features an 8.1-inch internal P-OLED display with a peak brightness of 6,200 nits, accompanied by a 6.6-inch external screen. It's powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 application processor, a high-end SoC that's not the same as the one found in the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.

The triple-camera setup includes a main camera equipped with the next-gen 50MP Sony Lytia 828 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The phone also boasts a 20MP front-facing camera on its external display and a 32MP selfie camera on the internal display.

Motorola claims the Razr Fold's 6,000mAh battery will deliver all-day battery life, and it will launch with Android 16 pre-installed.

Motorola plans to charge 1,999 euros for the FIFA variant of the phone, which includes the Moto Pen Ultra, a high-end digital stylus. When open, the phone measures just 4.6mm thick, while its closed form weighs 9.9mm.

Motorola's use of Corning's Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 in the Razr Fold has reportedly improved its durability, with internal testing showing a 75% better drop performance compared to previous generation devices.
