Google fires up music generation with lyria 3 pro

Google is cranking up the beat with Lyria 3 Pro, a major upgrade to its music composition AI model. While Lyria 3 could craft 30-second tunes even without user-provided lyrics, the new version lets you generate full three-minute songs, giving you far more creative control over each element of the composition.

With Lyria 3 Pro, you can drill down into specific parts of the song, like intros, verses, choruses, and bridges. You also get to call the shots on style, vocals, and tempo, allowing for far more complex and realistic tracks that fit your artistic vision.

Lyria 3 Pro is already available across Google's products and services, including Vertex AI, Google AI Studio, and the Gemini app. Subscribers to AI Pro and Ultra can create longer, more personalized tracks directly within the platform.

All Lyria 3 and Lyria 3 Pro productions bear the SynthID watermark, identifying them as AI-generated by Google. This latest launch sees Google expand its footprint in the music generative space, offering musicians, developers, and businesses the tools to craft longer, more detailed, and customizable tunes with granular control over every aspect of the musical production.
