A Thai retailer has prematurely listed the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37, revealing potentially higher price points than their predecessors. The Galaxy A57, configured with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, is reportedly priced at THB 17,999, approximately $555. The 512 GB variant will command around $650.

This isn't a surprise. The Galaxy A56 launched at $499, suggesting a $50 bump for the A57 is likely.

Beyond the price adjustment, early teardowns reveal a significant upgrade in the Galaxy A57's vapor chamber. Comparisons with the A56 and A55 show a substantially larger chamber, a welcome development for thermal management and sustained performance. Excessive heat has long been a concern for mid-range devices, and this improvement addresses a key weakness.

Specs for the Galaxy A57 are anticipated to include a 6.7-inch 120Hz display with slimmer bezels, powered by the Exynos 1680 chipset, coupled with a 5,000 mAh battery and IP68 certification. While official details are pending, the larger vapor chamber alone positions the A57 as a stronger contender in its segment. The pricing, however, will be a critical factor in its success.
