Brand Keys' 2026 Customer Loyalty Engagement Index (CLEI) rankings reveal that AT&T’s consistent network coverage, quality, and willingness of customers to spend have cemented its lead.

The report, which evaluates brands across 106 categories, highlights AT&T’s impressive reach, covering over 99% of the US population. This extensive coverage, coupled with the company's long history dating back to 1885, has fostered a strong brand identity.

AT&T’s strategic investments in its network, including a recent acquisition of EchoStar spectrum, are already yielding results. The company’s dual offering of 5G and fiber internet services also contributes to its remarkable retention rate – a historically low less than 1% churn.

The dominance of AT&T's customer loyalty isn't a surprise. The company's ability to retain users, even amidst a flurry of independent studies proclaiming different carriers as
