While Bluetooth functionality is absent, the enhanced pen offers impressive battery life, providing up to 100 hours of standby and nearly four hours of continuous writing on a single 15-minute charge.

The upgrades, particularly the active stylus, are undeniably welcome. But Motorola isn't giving this away. The Moto G Stylus (2026) carries a suggested retail price of $499.99 in the US – a full $100 increase over last year’s model. The question, then, is whether the improved pen and slightly enhanced battery—bumped up to 5,200mAh—justify the premium. With memory chip prices soaring across the entire mobile industry, the price increase, while regrettable, is perhaps understandable.
To sweeten the deal, Motorola is bundling a Moto Tags 4-pack with the 128GB variant and a bundle including Moto Buds Loop earbuds, a Moto Watch, and a Moto Tag with the 256GB configuration.
